Zambia awarded at EITI Conference in Paris

Zambia has received an award as Best Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) Implementing Country, Adopting Financial Modelling and Beneficial Ownership by both Industry and Government.
The award was given at the 2019 EITI Global Conference hosted by the Government of France at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris.

The conference which runs from 18-19 June 2019, is an opportunity for Heads of State, Civil Society Activists and Industry Leaders to discuss emerging trends and best practices in the good governance of natural resources.
